Server First! We got multiple near kills last week and would have had it this week regardless. The nerfs just made it a 1-shot. 50 pulls left in the week to do the rest! Making Icehowl tauntable was by far the biggest nerf.
10-man Algalon the Observer
After taking a week off for Blizzcon we went in for a 10-man and 2-shot him. We might have 1-shot him but Roshnak disconnected in the middle of the attempt.
Congratulations. Now to replicate it in 25s.

We beat the game - again!
After over 70 wipes, countless minor tweaks, and a lot of practice we have defeated Sartharion with all three drakes up. Congratulations everybody.
Next benchmark will be getting Naxxramas, Malygos and Sarth+3D into a single 3 hour clear as we prepare for Ulduar. Here goes nothing!

We beat the game!
On our last raid night, in the last week before Wrath of the Lich King - Whisperwind Eleven has downed Kil'jaeden and officially "beaten the game".
Our recruitment post states that we don't stop raiding just because a new expansion is around the corner - we raid because we love raiding. To see the content and beat it - and this has never been more true than now.
Congratulations everybody on the amazing effort, the weekend raiding and a very clean kill.
Lightwell down
Standing in the center of M'uru - Whisperwind Eleven has successfully captured a Lightwell. This rare species of priest talents has eluded us for months but we have finally tracked one down.

Mother Shahraz defeated
We had some time left in the raid window so we thought we'd give Mother Shahraz a try. We only had time for 1 pull though. Turns out it was enough. 1-shotted Mother Shahraz. Thanks to Stopthelag for co-ordinating all the materials for shadow resist gear.
Reliquary of Souls defeated!
After 2 nights of attempts Reliquary of Souls was defeated. What an intense and satisfying encounter. Kudos to Blizzard and congratulations to the guild!

Mount Hyjal cleared
So we weren't even flasking because we thought hey - just a learning attempt right? Then we're thinking hey - this learning attempt is going pretty well - we got him below 50%. Okay this is strange, he's at 30%, this is good. Once people learn to stop dying to Doomfires he'll die. Umm... he's at 10%, did we... just... clear Hyjal?

Chromaggus down!
We knew we could take him down and we did! Time Lapse and Frost Burn were the flavors of the week and after a few wipes figuring out how to handle the breaths, the frenzy, the Bronze Affliction and the enrage, we got him down.
What I'm most pleased about is what an amazing turnout we had despite it being an unscheduled "non-tracked" run. This means a lot to me because it shows how much people just want to hang out and kill a new boss together. On a run that wasn't worth any attendance credit people genuinely enjoy playing the game and want to see the boss die. Congratulations everybody! Now let us speak of Nefarian...

Hakkar Down!
Well we downed Hakkar tonight! Last time we attempted Hakkar we put in 4 attempts and the farthest we got him was 45%. Tonight we went in and despite some early connectivity issues we got Hakkar to 11% on the first attempt. After some rezzing and some buffs he died on the second attempt in 8 minutes! Congratulations everybody!

And boss #8 is down!
Congratulations everybody, it's quite the adventure so far. We've killed the first 8 bosses of Molten Core. Let's recap our progress:
Week 1, April 4-10: Lucifron, Magmadar, Gehennas and Garr killed.
Week 2, April 11-17: Lucifron, Magmadar, Gehenas, Garr, Baron Geddon and Shazzrah killed
Week 3, April 18-24: Lucifron, Magmadar, Gehenas, Garr, Baron Geddon, Shazzrah, Sulfuron and Golemagg down
That's 8 bosses that we've learned in 3 weeks in MC netting 51 epic items.
Another MC boss get's one-shotted
It was a close fight involving the death of all our tanks but Sulfuron was downed on our first attempt tonight. Congratulations everybody!

Shazzrah got one-shotted
So after Baron Geddon we decide it's late and we should call it a night. Of course Shazzrah's just around the corner so we figure we might as well try Shazz once, wipe, and call it a night. Our sources tell us that as hard as the Baron Geddon fight is, Shazzrah is even harder. Too bad for Shazzrah Whisperwind Eleven rules.
Molten Core bosses keep dying
After 5 wipes we finally got him. Was real heartbreaking on both attempts #4 and #5 where we got him down to 1%, but we finally got our act together on attempt #6 and Geddon went down. Don't know if we can call it "Farm Status" yet - but that will come.

What an amazing first week it has been in Molten Core. Who would have thought that on our first trip into Molten Core we'd have downed 4 bosses? Well done everybody.

Another great Molten Core kill on our first attempt. A lot more deaths this time than Magmadar - we must be getting sloppy.
