We beat the game!

On our last raid night, in the last week before Wrath of the Lich King - Whisperwind Eleven has downed Kil'jaeden and officially "beaten the game".

Our recruitment post states that we don't stop raiding just because a new expansion is around the corner - we raid because we love raiding. To see the content and beat it - and this has never been more true than now.

Congratulations everybody on the amazing effort, the weekend raiding and a very clean kill.

Lightwell down

Standing in the center of M'uru - Whisperwind Eleven has successfully captured a Lightwell. This rare species of priest talents has eluded us for months but we have finally tracked one down.

Riding the nerf wave, after working on Kalecgos for five weeks Blizzard came along and pretty much death touched Kalecgos for us. Thanks 3.0!

Our first bear mount

After a long period of dropping ZA from the schedule, we decided to try and get a bear mount. Tonight met with success. Congratulations to Isisnile!

Illidan down

Council defeated

It took a full night of attempts but the Illidari Council has been defeated.

Mother Shahraz defeated

We had some time left in the raid window so we thought we'd give Mother Shahraz a try. We only had time for 1 pull though. Turns out it was enough. 1-shotted Mother Shahraz. Thanks to Stopthelag for co-ordinating all the materials for shadow resist gear.

Reliquary of Souls defeated!

After 2 nights of attempts Reliquary of Souls was defeated. What an intense and satisfying encounter. Kudos to Blizzard and congratulations to the guild!

Gurtogg Bloodboil defeated

Mount Hyjal cleared

So we weren't even flasking because we thought hey - just a learning attempt right? Then we're thinking hey - this learning attempt is going pretty well - we got him below 50%. Okay this is strange, he's at 30%, this is good. Once people learn to stop dying to Doomfires he'll die. Umm... he's at 10%, did we... just... clear Hyjal?
